Copyright Music
This is music to which the creator has
ownership over which is called the ‘Exclusive right’ and when an individual
wants to use it they must first get permission from the creator/owner in order
to use it. This is the copyright law is under the system of National laws and
international copyright Treaties. The main purpose is to ensure that someone’s
work is not to be stolen and used to make profit without the permission of the
person with the exclusive rights of the work. If an individuals want to use
someone’s copyrighted music they must first get a license from the person with
exclusive rights to it or authorized agencies.
For my production I decided to go with
non-copyright music since it is more easily accessible for me. This is because
copyrighted music is hard to get permission to use as the agency or the
individual who has the exclusive rights to the song or beat might take a long
period to decide whether they want to allow me or not. Another reason I decided
to use non-copyrighted music is because it is free since no body has the
exclusive rights to it or they do not mind their music being used for free.
I
used the YouTube channel no copyright music which is a popular YouTube channel
which lets you use their music for free without permission. They state this in
their YouTube description
The first none copyright song I choose was
Fredji- happy life for my first advert and sponsorship and for my other advert I
used Alan- fade. I picked these two songs because the beat went well with the
theme of the video, the music faded in and out well.
